Warm, Calm and Uncomplicated

Wood does most of the talking here.

It runs through the flooring, tables, seating, counters and shelving, while the lighter walls keep the café from feeling heavy. Black frames and curved lighting add contrast, and the red details appear only in a few places.

The Japanese influence is intentionally subtle. You see it in the artwork, the restrained palette, the clean furniture forms and the way the space is kept visually quiet.

We also did not want every seat to feel the same. There are smaller tables, bench seating, bar-height seating and a large central table, so someone coming in alone can use the space differently from a group meeting over coffee.

The indoor tree, books and central ceiling feature add a little personality without taking over the café.

Overall, the space is meant to feel easy. Nothing too loud, nothing too formal. Just a comfortable place to sit down, have coffee and stay for a while.
